Looking for SME with Loan transactions and data with strong project management exp., lending operations or data transformations exp., risk, audit and finance experience is a must.
RAID management exp. Is a plus but not mandate for this role.
Job Description:
The Institutional Credit Management (ICM) team is a critical component of Client’s First Line of Defence for wholesale lending and counterparty credit risk.
ICM partners with businesses Client-wide to ensure we have best-in-class risk and control capabilities.
ICM also plays a key role in Client’s Transformation efforts by helping to drive a Client-wide focus on wholesale credit risk management.
Through ongoing investment in processes, controls, systems, and governance, ICM continues to further embed consistency and best practices across Client, driving closer alignment between client business and regulatory goals.
The Lending Transformation Program (LTP) is a key initiative within ICM.
The goal is to transform the end-to-end wholesale lending process which will consolidate all remediation efforts for loan product processing and establish a consistent target operating model with a focus on improved front-to-back processes, controls, and enhanced technology to achieve best-in-class processing capabilities to support our client franchise.
ICM Lending Transformation is looking for a skilled and dynamic Project Manager as part of the regulatory reporting and data remediation program.
Key Responsibilities:
Understand underlying data and regulatory reporting issues and existing solutions
Drive design sessions to enhance processes, controls and data to meet regulatory and internal reporting requirements
Develop project plans and drive execution
Support implementation of interim controls, working with front-to-back stakeholders
Develop and oversee execution of detailed project plans across numerous stakeholder groups
Ensure timely project tracking, status reporting and escalation, in line with Client’s Project Management Standards
Establish and deliver project governance including preparation of material
Develop and maintain RAID logs and execution trackers and general issue management, with appropriate escalation
Partner with 2nd Line (Risk and Finance) and 3rd Line Internal Audit to ensure delivery design and execution to the highest standard
Oversee program communication including internal stakeholders and regulatory updates / communication
Establish strong relationships with stakeholders across Client at all levels, businesses, and locations
Appropriately assess risks when making business decisions, using sound ethical judgment, while complying with both Client-group policy and applicable laws, rules, and regulations
Qualifications and Competencies:
8 plus years’ experience in project management, ideally in wholesale lending Loan Transaction Management / Operations
Experience in regulatory reporting would be ideal
Excellent oral and written communications skills; must be articulate and persuasive
Should demonstrate a commitment to quality and attention to detail
Ability to drive change and effectively manage projects and stakeholders
Strong organizational leadership and influencing skills
Proactive, 'no surprises', approach in communicating issues/requests
Capable of prioritizing and multi-tasking in a dynamic environment
Strong business analysis, problem solving and analytical skills
Keen sense of urgency and eagerness for ownership
Works well under pressure and in tight deadlines
Proficiency in Excel and other data tools
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
