We are seeking a Supply Chain Director to play a pivotal role in the strategic and tactical aspects of the supply chain. The key responsibilities associated with this position include Supply Chain Management and Procurement responsible for creating and managing diverse strategic supplier partnerships that drive enterprise value with innovation, best value, and competitive advantages that benefit customers and suppliers. This position develops and executes strategic plans by clearly understanding the spend and stakeholder landscape, leveraging market intelligence, industry knowledge, and cross-functional collaboration. This position will ensure competitive advantage is created through end-to-end category management bringing the best available value through assurance of supply, quality, service levels, innovation, and cost, achieved through supplier selection and management, contract negotiation, supply chain optimization, and risk mitigation.
Essential Functions
Responsible for directing the procurement of direct and indirect spend categories: Plastics, Fiberglass, Aluminum Extrusions, Freight, Gratings, Components, and Services.
Lead the decision & execution of RCQ (Right Cost & Quality) cost reduction initiatives.
Provide proactive leadership and management with cross-functional partners to effectively select suppliers, negotiate favorable contracts, and manage supplier performance/relationships.
Development and execution of supply strategies to achieve the best total value, sustainable productivity and elevated levels of quality and service aligned with business objectives.
Facilitates Supplier Relationship Management through development and key performance indicators (KPI’s).
Lead the effective implementation of Standard Operating Procedures relating to the company’s procurement/purchasing activities.
Understand the portfolio risk profile of managed categories and develop mitigation actions and plans.
Drives annual cost savings through effective strategies and negotiations. Cost savings should meet each year’s business financial needs.
Perform data analysis and utilize financial acumen to identify opportunities to leverage scale and drive cost savings.
Collaborates with and influences business partners in a highly matrixed environment to optimize key supplier performance and innovation.
Responsible for balancing supply and demand, improving business performance, and increasing customer satisfaction through facilitating the Sales and Operations Planning process.
Influence business decisions to enter/exit product lines, and drive make/buy decisions.

Qualifications Required
BA, BS, or equivalent experience in a related field
7+ years supply chain/procurement experience
Ideally has experience building products industry and must have manufacturing industry experience.
Strong project and process management knowledge to execute supply strategy through the S&OP process.
Possesses expertise with contract requirements to negotiate critical terms and conditions in line with category strategies.
Possesses experience with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain processes to support supplier selection and performance.
Possesses strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; able to communicate effectively and interact with personnel at all levels of the organization.
