Billing Coordinator

Billing CoordinatorWe are seeking a Billing Coordinator to join our Finance team at Accredited Labs.As our billing coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate billing of customers across multiple branch locations. This includes creating and sending invoices, managing billing inquiries, collaborating with operational and finance teams, and supporting the accounts receivable process. This role reports to the Shared Services Manager and is a critical individual contributor in the finance department.Day To Day Responsibilities:Generate and send accurate customer invoices in a timely mannerCollaborate with operational teams to ensure all billable services are properly captured and billedReview work orders, service documentation, and customer contracts to ensure proper billingRespond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries related to invoices and billing discrepanciesMaintain organized records of customer billing and payment historySupport collections efforts by tracking overdue accounts and communicating with customersReconcile billing data and resolve discrepancies proactivelyProvide regular reporting on billing status, outstanding balances, and revenue trendsRecommend and implement process improvements to streamline billing workflowsEnsure compliance with internal controls and company billing policiesAssist in month-end close processes related to accounts receivable and revenue recognitionOther duties as assignedBasic Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing, invoicing, or related accounting/administrative functionStrong attention to detail and high level of accuracyAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in general accounting softwareNice To Have:Experience in a multi-branch service environmentFamiliarity with NetSuite or similar ERP systemUnderstanding of basic revenue recognition principlesPrevious experience in calibration services or technical service industries a plusAccredited Labs is a trusted provider of accredited calibration services.
