Job Duties:
Conduct legal research on case-specific issues using Lexis-Nexis, Westlaw, and other legal research tools.
Draft pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and other legal documents with precision.
Evaluate case facts to determine case value and develop legal strategies.
Negotiate settlements and litigate cases as needed.
Communicate effectively with clients, providers, and opposing counsel.
Manage and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Maintain organized case files and documentation.
Follow standard legal procedures with great care and attention to detail.
Represent clients in court hearings and proceedings.
Stay updated on legal developments and procedural changes.
Requirements:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the State Bar association.
1-3 years of experience in Insurance Defense.
Strong research and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Proficiency in legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.
Experience in negotiating and litigating cases is preferred.
