Nurse Coordinator RNThe Nurse Coordinator RN is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all clinical support activities in the Practice. Responsible for providing professional clinical assistance to patients within the practice supporting the physicians. Working directly with the physicians is the liaison between the patient and the physicians for establishing and maintaining quality patient care. Responsible for performing all duties in accordance with clinic protocols and procedures.Department: Bone and Joint CenterSchedule: Full TimeEssential Responsibilities / Duties:Provides superior customer service to internal and external clients, customers, and patients as referenced in the Service Excellence Standards.Utilizes clinical teamwork to oversee the interdisciplinary plan of care:Assesses the patient and family as appropriatePlans and implements clinical care and facilitates its delivery to patients and family members Evaluates the process and outcome of clinical services in the practice and makes suggestions for improvementDocuments according to practice policies and proceduresPractices and promotes professional clinical care within legal and ethical standardsProvides education/consultation as needed to other health care team members and to patients and familiesAssumes responsibility for personal and professional growth through identification of own learning needsEncourages an environment of teamwork with other employees.
