About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Marketing to lead their small but highly effective marketing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for hiring and managing a team of ICs and external agencies, as well as owning the P&L of the marketing budget. The role involves growing conversion volume, doubling spend, and maintaining CAC, while also scaling within paid search and social, diversifying spend to new channels, and improving bidding efficiency. The VP of Marketing will be expected to uplevel lifecycle re-engagement efforts, maintain acquisition volume, and increase landing page conversion rates. The ideal candidate should have deep experience in core channels such as Meta, Google, and Linear TV, and a track record of managing 8+ figure budgets with a focus on profitable marketing.Applicants for the VP of Marketing position at the company should have a data-driven and highly analytical approach, with hands-on experience in SEM and Paid Social. Experience in a direct response marketing organization with a zero-tolerance policy for unprofitable spending is essential. The role requires a candidate who is comfortable driving results with a small team, while also being able to operate as an individual contributor. A proven track record of measuring successful campaign results, particularly in terms of CAC, LTV, and ROAS, is necessary. The company is looking for a leader who is experienced in diversifying marketing channels and is adept at making data-driven decisions to ensure the growth and success of the marketing function.
