Job Description
Position: BAS/PLC Programmer
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled BAS/PLC Programmer with a minimum of 5 years' direct experience in installing or programming Building Automation Systems (BAS), particularly within HVAC systems. This role involves commissioning, diagnosing, and optimizing control systems, requiring a strong command of programming languages and a deep understanding of BAS or PLCs.
Requirements:
5+ years of direct experience in installing or programming BAS or PLC systems, specifically in HVAC applications.
Preferred familiarity with Tridium and Niagara systems.
Proficiency in interpreting technical instructions and navigating varied variables.
Mechanical or Construction field experience is a plus.
Responsibilities: Develop, diagnose, and optimize control systems for peak performance.
Maintain high standards representing the company.
Conduct comprehensive testing, programming, and servicing for assigned projects.
Perform regular maintenance, surveys, replacements, and system modifications.
Manage inventory, company equipment, and related documentation.
Provide client training and support for system operation and maintenance.
Conduct programming, commissioning, and start-up activities.
Additional Requirements: Physical agility for movements like walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and crawling.
Exposure to moving mechanical parts and heavy equipment.
