**How you’ll contribute:**

As a User Experience Designer, you'll transform complex tasks into intuitive, accessible designs that delight users worldwide. You'll collaborate with designers, researchers, engineers, and product managers to craft user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that anticipate and fulfill user needs. **Who you’ll report to:**

You’ll report directly to our Director, UX Design

**Location:** San Jose, CA bay area preferred. Other US locations considered

**You will make an impact by being responsible for:**

+ Understanding our users, their goals, and their needs

+ Collaborating with Product Management and Engineering to define the user flows, experience design, and the user interface for Automation Anywhere products and features

+ Developing high-level and detailed storyboards, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas

+ Gauging the usability of new and existing products and identify opportunities for improvement

**You will be a great fit if you have:**

+ 3+ years of experience designing and shipping software user experiences, or a master's in design

+ A portfolio of UX-focused work samples for web and mobile applications that demonstrate your design thinking

+ Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with cross-functional teams

**You excel in these key competencies:**

+ A passion for problem-solving and a user-centric approach to design

+ Experience conducting or partnering with UX Research to amplify research and design impact

+ Expertise with Figma to produce wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes

+ An understanding of current web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks or libraries

The base salary range for this position in California, New York, and Washington is $115,000 – $130,000 and outside of those locations is $105,000 – 120,000 a year. The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors. This position is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, equity and a full range of medical and other benefits.
