Boswell Engineering is seeking an experienced Project Manager in the electric utility industry.
Responsibilities:
+ Project managers will be assigned projects that range from replacing a breaker at a substation to an entirely new substation and/or transmission line upgrades
+ Typical substation projects may be breaker replacement, cap bank heaters, bus work, transformer replacement, control house rehab or replacement, extending a substation yard, or a new substation
+ Typical transmission line projects may be replacing insulators, replacing the OPGW, adding circuits, or a new transmission line
+ Project managers may also be assigned transmission line routing studies
+ The client will provide all of the necessary training for both the project management system that is utilized and all of the mandated client safety training and FERC training
+ Project managers shall attend meetings at the clients Morristown office
+ Adhere to internal standards, policies, and procedures
+ Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
+ Formal project management training
+ At least five (5) years of project management experience
+ Experience in managing substation and/or transmission line projects
+ The position requires a background check and training
