H.D. Fowler Company is looking for an experienced full-time Data Engineer to join the team at our Corporate Office in Bellevue, Washington. H.D. Fowler is a family-owned company that has been in business for over 100 years and is the single best distributor of water and wastewater solutions in the Pacific Northwest. What you will do:
As an Azure Data Engineer, you will be expected to design, implement, and manage data solutions on the Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
Demonstrate hands-on experience with Azure Synapse, Python, Power BI, SQL.
Work closely with the team to ensure data quality, integrity, and accuracy across all systems.
Utilize experience in Data warehousing – OLTP, OLAP, Dimension, Facts, and Data modeling.
Develop notebooks in Synapse to Extract, Transform and Load data.
Understand data pipelines and modern ways of automating data pipeline using cloud-based testing and clearly document implementations, so others can easily understand the requirements, implementation, and test conditions.
Who we are looking for:
Minimum 5 years of designing and implementing an operational production grade large-scale data solution on Microsoft Azure Synapse Data Warehouse.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to problem solve and design in an environment with unclear requirements.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, including active listening, problem-solving when under pressure, and facilitation.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
What is in it for you:
Salary DOE: $100,000 - $130,000 annually
In-Office Working Hours Primarily Monday - Friday between 7AM-5PM
