About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly seasoned Director of Business Development for our Federal Government Sector. The Director of Business Development will help us identify new customers, applications and use cases for our existing AI products and opportunities for new products expanding our footprint in the Federal Civilian (e.g. Commerce, Energy, Interior); Defense & Security (e.g. DoD, Homeland Security, State Dept, Intelligence Community) Health (e.g. Heath and Human Services, Veteran's Affairs) Federal Government sectors. Helping us develop opportunities for our AI products. This position is responsible for generating, qualifying, and closing new business for the company in our target business areas. It is paramount this individual has a deep understanding of the Federal Government Sector.

Responsibilities:
Utilize your extensive knowledge of government contracting and acquisition practices to direct business development activities within the Federal Government Sector.
Work closely with executive leadership, sales and marketing, engineering, product development & management teams to develop a winning approach to opportunities and their distribution in the Federal Government Sector.
Lead customer meetings – from initial discussion thought formal presentations.
Assemble, Inspire, motivate, and lead cross functional teams through the business development process to ensure the development and delivery of winning proposals.
Develop effective teaming partnerships with other solutions providers.
Strategy for distribution of Seekr products throughout the Federal Sector
Evangelizes Seekr products, arranging, orchestrating, and conducting meetings, webinars, presentations to raise brand and product awareness.
Develops customer leads from learning customer problems and issues that our products solve and works with team on modifications to commercial products to better fit the federal government sector.
Help shape the Company's long-term goals and objectives and works closely with other parts of the organization to create plans to meet such goals.
Qualification:
US Citizen
Must hold Top Secret Security Clearance.
Drive business growth in the government sector by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, contracts, and partnerships with government agencies and departments.
Must be familiar with complex RFIs and RFPs
Experience with ARC or other acquisitions and procurement marketplaces desired.
Previous experience working within government compliance standards, for example: FedRAMP, FISMA, and DoD RMF.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders.
Understanding of federal specific requirements that support implementation of new technologies at federal sites.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or related field; MBA is a Plus.
Minimum of 5+ years of progressive technology product sales
Minimum of 5+ years of supervisory/management experience.
A fast and resourceful learner who can find creative solutions to potential barriers that appear throughout each opportunity life cycle.
Ability to organize and lead business development opportunities and develop relationships with multiple agencies.
