About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Developer Relations to join their remote-first AI organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a high-performing, distributed team and creating a cohesive strategy to drive the company's growth and success. This critical leadership role involves being the voice of the developer community, championing their needs, and ensuring that the company's AI models are the top choice for developers. The role also includes creating and executing a roadmap for technical content, partnering with growth teams on social and community strategy, and driving the company's SDK and integration strategy. The Head of Developer Relations will be a key partner to the leadership team, fostering strong relationships across technical and go-to-market teams, and aligning developer relations with the company's overall initiatives to enhance the developer experience.Applicants for the Head of Developer Relations position at the company should have a minimum of 9 years' experience in developer relations, with a proven track record of building and leading distributed teams. A strong technical background in computer science and experience with popular programming languages is essential. The role requires a candidate who is passionate about AI innovation, has a deep empathy for developers, and is adept at creating content and programs to support their needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of go-to-market strategies and the ability to connect developer relations activities with marketing efforts to drive user growth and product usage. Excellent communication skills and the ability to execute in a fast-paced, startup environment are also key requirements.
