Position Overview:
We are looking for a seasoned Product Designer with about 7-10 years of experience as a Product Designer. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in both startups and larger tech companies and a blend of consumer-facing and B2B products. This role demands creative ideation and rapid execution so the ability to be dynamic and rigorous without being precious about process or outputs is essential.
Responsibilities:
Design Responsibilities:
– Lead the end-to-end design process for user-facing touchpoints of our models, from concept to launch.
– Participate in user research, gather insights, and translate findings into actionable design solutions.
– Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design concepts.
– Iterate on designs based on user feedback, data analysis, and market trends.
– Contribute to our design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across products.
– Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies.
Team Mentorship and Collaboration:
– Openness to mentoring designers, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
– Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers and other departments to ensure an understanding of cross functional needs
Craft Focus:
-Drive innovation and design thinking, ensuring that all design initiatives are optimized for actionable outcomes.
-Stay abreast of emerging technologies and design trends, integrating innovative solutions into digital strategies.
Qualifications:
Experience and skills:
– 7 – 10 years of professional experience in full stack product design
– Proven track record of successful projects on both B2B and consumer products
– Experience in startups and larger, established tech companies
– Proficiency in Figma or similar design tools.
– Strong portfolio showcasing your design process, problem-solving skills, and the impact of your work.
– Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
– Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
– Experience working with user research, usability testing, and data analysis.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (preferred)
