Summary/Scope of Work:
Develop TADSS curriculum, schedule units for training, operate, maintain, and provide the management of TADSS operations on the Training Support Center (TSC) Operations Support program. Incumbents may support training in any of the following: EST-II, HEAT, CDT/SV, CFFT, or CDT/MV. T
Duties and Responsibilities:
Schedule periodic courses of instruction
Enroll students in courses as requested by clients
Reference training manuals to determine the course of instruction
Develop/follow lesson plans for various TADSS programs
Update lesson plans as changes occur for various TADSS programs
Incorporate new training and changes into TADSS instruction
Set up instruction site for training
Prepare and print handouts for students
Establish operating schedule at unit facility; prepare facility for operations, operate facility IAW scenarios as needed; perform shutdown tasks to security facility at end of training.
Submit recommendations for improvements to the Chief Virtual Simulations Branch
Perform PMCS and Operator-level repairs as required, report maintenance issues to appropriate repair facility.
Shall ship weapon system training devices to the appropriate repair facility when maintenance above operator level is required, IAW guidance in effect at the time. It is estimated that two twenty-pound shipments will need to be packed and sent each month at no cost to the Contractor
Minimum Requirements:
US Citizenship
Prior military experience
MOS 13 or 11 series
Minimum three (3) years’ experience in training support center operations
Experience as staff/instructor
Familiarity with devices such as EST-II, HEAT, CDT/SV, CFFT, or CDT/MV
Knowledge in TS-MATS, TADSS and MS Office
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner
Working knowledge/understanding of military protocol/chain of command
Ability to maintain effective working relationships, professional demeanor, and attitude; ability to work cooperatively with military and civilian workforce
Occasionally training may be conducted on the weekend and one may be required to work on Saturday and Sunday.
Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications and Skills
Background in or working of Infantry or Armor
Background in or working knowledge of Military
Operations, Training Development, Doctrine Development or Combat Development
