Job Description

Electrical Superintendent

Gpac is a national executive search firm specializing in recruitment for the electrical construction industry. We have been retained by a local electrical contractor in the area to find an Electrical Superintendent to join their team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all field operations on commercial, industrial, and institutional electrical projects
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and field personnel to ensure smooth workflow and productivity
  • Supervise and mentor foremen, electricians, and apprentices to maintain high-performance standards
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and company policies
  • Review blueprints, specifications, and job site conditions to prevent issues and ensure quality installations
  • Manage material procurement, deliveries, and site logistics to optimize efficiency
  • Conduct site meetings and progress reports with clients, contractors, and internal teams
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems and resolve on-site challenges as needed
  • Monitor and track job performance, reporting updates to project managers and company leadership

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of electrical construction experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Proven experience managing crews and overseeing commercial, industrial, and institutional projects
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, installation techniques, and industry codes
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in job site coordination and scheduling
  • Stable work history
  • OSHA 30 certification is a plus

Preferred but Not Required:

  • Journeyman or Master Electrician license
