Job Type - Contract/Fulltime Position
Responsibilities:
Lead the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of the DX NetOps 22.2.x suite, including CA Spectrum, CAPM, NFA, and VNA.
Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of our DX NetOps tools architecture and integration. Be able to provide insights and recommendations on architectural enhancements and upgrades.
Monitor network performance to ensure its reliability and availability. Use CA Spectrum for real-time network infrastructure management and quick troubleshooting of network faults.
Utilize CA Performance Management (CAPM) for comprehensive network performance monitoring and reporting. Identify network performance issues and implement effective solutions.
Use Network Flow Analysis (NFA) to understand traffic patterns, identify anomalies, and optimize bandwidth utilization across the network.
Leverage Virtual Network Assurance (VNA) for end-to-end network visualization across multi-vendor traditional and SDN architectures.
Provide Level 4 support for complex network issues that cannot be resolved by L1, L2, and L3 support.
Work closely with other teams to troubleshoot and resolve network issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Plan and manage upgrades to the DX NetOps suite. Ensure compatibility with other system components and minimize downtime during the upgrade process.
Maintain detailed documentation of network topology, design, configuration, and troubleshooting steps.
Conduct training sessions to junior network engineers on DX NetOps and its components.
Understand and manage the integration of event management tools with the DX NetOps suite to improve fault detection, diagnosis, and resolution.
Implement ITIL processes in the operations workflow, including incident management, problem management, change management, and service level management.
Engage with CA vendors for product upgrades and updates. Collaborate with them for efficient implementation, ensuring minimal disruption to the existing services.
Lead the implementation of new features and upgrades from CA. Plan and execute implementations, ensuring they align with the business objectives and network requirements.
Requirements:
Proven experience in network operations and managing DX NetOps 22.2.8.
Proficiency in CA Spectrum, CAPM, NFA, and VNA.
Strong understanding of network protocols, infrastructure, and principles.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve complex network issues.
Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
Current and relevant networking certifications would be considered an advantage.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
Willingness to stay updated with the latest advancements in network technologies.
Understanding of complex network architectures and ability to provide architectural insights.
Knowledge and experience in integrating event management tools with the DX NetOps suite.
Familiarity with ITIL processes and their application in network operations.
Experience in engaging with vendors, specifically CA, for product upgrades, updates, and implementations.
Proven track record of successfully implementing network products and upgrades in a live environment.
