Help Desk Analyst I

Visium Resources has been asked to identify candidates for a Help Desk Analyst I onsite position in Sacramento, CA . One of California's largest State Agency is searching for candidates with great communication skills, attention to detail and end user computing technical skills to work on its help desk. An excellent Help desk technician must have good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution.

Provides first level lT support for end user at the call center.

Installation and maintenance of workstation hardware, operating systems, and software.

Upgrades to hardware and software and replace computers as needed.

Assists end users with accessing and using network resources.

Diagnoses and resolves hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

Elevates issues to higher level support staff, if needed.

Rate & Benefits

* This position is paid on a hourly basis and will be 40 hours per week. The rate expectation is $20 to $25 per hour.

Details:

Qualified candidates would have the following: Two years of general information technology experience and help desk experience performing technical, analytical, or support tasks for computer systems.

System administration in a Windows environment

Experience with multifactor authentication (Example: Yubi Key)

Familiar with Microsoft SCCM

Familiar with VDI concepts and technologies (Example: Citrix)

A basic understanding of networking (IP addressing, DHCP, DNS and basic network troubleshooting)

Active Directory experience - creating new accounts, resetting passwords and other basic maintenance tasks

Analytical and problem solving skills, combined with the ability to provide quick resolution to problems.

Strong time management skill and the ability to meet a commitment/deadline.

Technical documentation of troubleshooting steps and information for new and preexisting equipment.

Verbal and written communication skills are mandatory.
