Pharmacy Technician

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join the pharmacy team. The Pharmacy Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe dispensing of medications to our patients. Responsibilities:
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications.
Accurately count and package medications.
Maintain proper storage and labeling of medications.
Process insurance claims and assist customers with insurance inquiries.
Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns.
Manage inventory, order supplies, and restock pharmacy shelves.
Follow all safety and quality assurance procedures.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best patient outcomes.
Keep abreast of industry trends and changes in pharmaceutical regulations.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.
State Pharmacy Technician certification and/or national certification (CPhT) preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using pharmacy software and computer systems.
