The Global Networking (GN) team is responsible for the design, development, build and operation of Client's global network that Clients services, including the Clients Cloud Platform, runs on. GN develops cutting-edge networking technologies that allow our global WAN to be zero-touch, build out some of the largest scale Software Defined Networks (SDNs) infrastructure ever deployed (B4, Espresso), scale global Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) that support our services, develops sophisticated software systems for network capacity forecasting, planning, and optimization. We develop and rely on the most advanced techniques in network hardware and software, traffic engineering, and network management to deliver unprecedented scale, availability, and performance at industry-leading cost points. We are also advancing the state of the art in data analytics and machine learning to drive network efficiency and optimization at scale.
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to facilitation of the agile team processes, escalation of impediments, risk management, assuring value delivery, driving continuous improvement, coaching teammates on agile methodologies and best practices, and collecting, tracking, and reporting metrics.
Serve as the primary point of contact for Agile project management, ensuring adherence to Agile principles and practices throughout project lifecycles.
Coordinate and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Mentor and support team members in Agile principles, helping foster a continuous improvement culture.
Mentor and support teams to develop and drive project plans focused on:
Epic story development filling in gaps
Supporting Product Owners and their epics
Preparing Product owners for Scrum PI Planning with Product Owners (Product Owner Prep plan before PI Planning)
Basic Qualifications:
o 3+ Years of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) SPC certification with three or more years of practical experience as an Agile Transformation coach for Fortune 100 Tech Company
o 7+ years as a Scrum Master or product owner, with Scrum Master certification.
o Proficient in Agile methodology, coaching, and modern development practices
o Demonstrated experience coaching top-notch software engineers with agile best practices
o Demonstrated experience coaching 50+ engineering teams
o Experience working on complex and highly integrated hardware software development projects in an Agile Scrum environment
Desired Skills:
Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification with two or more years of practical experience as an RTE
Proven experience in Agile Coaching, preferably in a software development environment and large-scale transformation (tech and process)
Strong knowledge of Agile principles, methodologies, and practices, such as Scrum or Kanban.
Understanding and proficiency in tools like JIRA, configuration, and optimization
Good understanding of software development lifecycle processes and agile tools (e.g., Confluence, Bitbucket, or Trello).
Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to effectively facilitate meetings and foster collaboration.
Ability to think critically, solve problems, and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and mentor teams
Demonstrated experience collecting Agile metrics and leveraging them to track status and identify areas for improvement
Demonstrated experience holding retrospectives and implementing process improvements
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and interact with various project stakeholders
Experience participating and leading teams through Program Increment Planning Events
Desired domain experience in a more significant Global IT Network providers
