Network Engineer

Position : Network Engineer (Palo Alto Firewalls Expertise)

Job Summary

Network Engineer with strong hands-on Palo Alto Firewall & Panorama expertise to manage, secure, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure in a 24x7 high-availability environment .

Key Responsibilities

Manage Palo Alto, Panorama & PAN-OS , including security policies, NAT, App-ID, User-ID, URL filtering, threat prevention, decryption, and logging.

Configure and troubleshoot GlobalProtect, IPsec VPN, HA, routing, and firewall connectivity .

Perform upgrades, migrations, backups, vulnerability remediation, capacity reviews, and lifecycle activities .

Troubleshoot complex connectivity/security issues using logs, packet captures, sessions, and routing analysis .

Support routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, load balancers, and cloud connectivity .

Execute production changes using change control, validation, peer review, and rollback procedures .

Monitor network performance, resolve incidents, perform RCA , and implement preventive actions.

Maintain network diagrams, standards, documentation, inventories, and procedures .

Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, Application, and Vendor teams .

Support projects, maintenance windows, and 24x7 on-call operations .

Required

Strong enterprise experience with Palo Alto Firewalls, Panorama & PAN-OS .

Expertise in App-ID, User-ID, GlobalProtect, IPsec VPN, NAT, HA, logging, and troubleshooting .

Strong TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, routing, switching, VPN, segmentation, and network-security knowledge.
