Federal Program Manager

Beyond20 is seeking a skilled and analytical Program Manager to join our dynamic team. The Program Manager will be responsible for evaluating, monitoring, and enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of various federal delivery programs within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive successful program development.
The position is remote but the candidate must have the ability to meet in the DC office several times per quarter.
Responsibilities:
Conduct oversight of program data, performance metrics, and trends to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with site leads to gather requirements, objectives, and feedback for program enhancements.
Develop and maintain detailed program documentation, including processes, procedures, and guidelines.
Utilize tools to create insightful reports and presentations for management and stakeholders within contract deliverables.
Identify potential risks, challenges, and opportunities within existing programs and propose strategies for mitigation or improvement.
Assist in the development and execution of program goals, objectives, and action plans.
Participate in the implementation of new programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Monitor program implementation, track milestones, and evaluate outcomes against established targets.
Delivery of government programs, deliverables and ability to maintain relationships with COR
Provide timely and relevant updates on program progress, challenges, and successes to management and stakeholders.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure proper implementation and utilization of program management software and tools.
Travel Requirements:
This role requires periodic travel to various locations, on-site assessments and stakeholder meetings. Travel frequency may vary but is estimated to be approximately 20-25%
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, Economics, or a related field
PMP certification
Proven experience in program analysis, project management, or a related role
Strong proficiency in data analysis, interpretation, and reporting using tools like Excel or Power BI
Familiarity in working with federal agencies to deliver programs
Excellent analytical thinking, clear communications and problem-solving skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effectively presenting complex information to various audiences
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Familiarity with program management methodologies and tools
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Knowledge of program evaluation techniques and performance measurement.
