Analytical, collaborative, IT contracts management experience
** Responsibilities: **
Responding to client inquiries regarding contract specifics; and producing or updating software tools, which deal with contract information.
Conduct thorough independent review of power contracts and related documents, identifying critical information or patterns.
Producing detailed Contract Summaries and Scheduling/Dispatch protocols; identifying potential contractual issues and solutions; investigating contract questions/issues raised by clients; or performing complex numerical analyses relative to power contracts' capacity and energy costs.
Own contract portfolios that include contract renewal, purchaser requisition creation, goods receipt, forecasting, budgeting, financial planning, variance analysis, contract kick off, stakeholder meeting, quote gathering (with use of internal sourcing department)
Work with counterparties as their existing contracts are modified, extended or transitioned to new contracts by PG&E negotiators.
Review ongoing contract maintenance expense and work with stakeholders to initiate the renewal process
Manage contract details in contract management database (currently using BMC Remedy contract management console) (ERRA) Compliance Review) and other proceedings as they affect contract administration.
Constantly look for ways to improve the Contract Management process, whether to make it more cost-effective, easier and increase efficiency in renewing a contract. Examples of such work have included automation of reports, process simplification and documentation and creation of a contract database.
Provide back-up support for other members of the Contract Management section to ensure smooth operation of team. Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
** Qualifications **
** Minimum Qualifications **
1 - 3 years experience working with contracts; IT Contracts Management
Project Management principals and knowledge is a good to have for this role
Energy industry knowledge; understanding of technologies and subscriptions
BS/BA degree, or equivalent work experience
** Desired Qualifications: **
Bachelor's degree - or directly related work experience
Knowledge forecasting and budgeting
Understanding of CPUC and FERC regulatory framework
High level of organization
Strong communication skills and ability to communicate to C-Suite Executives
Familiarity SAP and Ariba
