Audit and Accounting Manager

Responsibilities:
Lead and manage audit engagements, including planning, execution, and completion, ensuring compliance with auditing standards, regulations, and firm policies.
Review financial statements, audit workpapers, and related documentation prepared by engagement teams to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to professional standards.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and providing proactive guidance and solutions to address client needs and challenges.
Supervise, mentor, and train staff, providing coaching, feedback, and support to promote their professional development and growth.
Collaborate with partners and firm leadership to identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiencies, and service enhancements.
Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging issues affecting clients, and provide guidance and insights to clients and engagement teams accordingly.
Participate in business development activities, including networking, proposal preparation, and client presentations, to expand the firm's client base and generate new business opportunities.
Contribute to the firm's thought leadership initiatives, including writing articles, presenting at conferences, and participating in professional organizations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required; Master's degree preferred
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required
Minimum of 7 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on audit and accounting services
Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, and financial reporting requirements
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships and lead engagement teams effectively
Commitment to quality, integrity, and professionalism
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office applications
$120,000 - $150,000 a year
