Business Analyst (Top Secret Cleared)

Job Summary:
The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, analyze requirements, and propose solutions that align with the company's goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in a software development environment, possessing the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensuring successful implementation of software projects. This is a 6 month contract to hire and requires a Top Secret clearance or higher.
Responsibilities: Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
Work with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to collect necessary information.
Create detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
Documentation and Specification:
Develop and maintain requirement documents, use cases, user stories, and process flow diagrams.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications for the development team.
Ensure documentation is clear, concise, and accessible to both business and technical stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and the development team.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between all parties.
Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.
Solution Design and Evaluation:
Work with the development team to design solutions that meet business requirements.
Evaluate proposed solutions for feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with business goals.
Recommend improvements and alternative solutions when necessary.
Project Management Support:
Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of software development projects.
Track project progress and ensure milestones and deadlines are met.
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
Testing and Validation:
Collaborate with the QA team to develop test plans and test cases.
Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation of deliverables.
Ensure that the final product meets business requirements and quality standards.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in business analysis and software development.
Provide training and support to end-users and other stakeholders as needed.
$70,000 - $95,000 a year
