Job Description: LHH Technology is seeking an experienced and dedicated Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for providing essential technology design, support, and maintenance for our client networks and virtual hosting environment. This role involves direct client interaction and collaboration with internal teams to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our network infrastructure.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide daily support to clients, both onsite and remotely, addressing networking issues and designing network solutions.

Perform network maintenance, including OS upgrades, security checks, configuration changes, SNMP setup, backup management, security, user account administration, and email system support (including Exchange and SMTP).

Maintain and support servers, ensuring their optimal performance.

Oversee backup maintenance, monitoring, and serve as the point of escalation.

Collaborate with senior IT leadership to maintain a secure ISP.

Offer comprehensive support for server, network, and desktop hardware, software, and applications.

Conduct hardware and software troubleshooting and manage hardware installation and maintenance.

Maintain accurate client documentation, updating it as needed to reflect environmental changes.

Provide support in accordance with client managed services agreements.

Design and maintain Active Directory networks with a deep understanding of group policy.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of Remote Desktop and/or Citrix is helpful but not required.

Qualifications, Requirements, Skills, and Abilities:

Education: High school diploma required; MCSE or equivalent experience preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in network design and troubleshooting.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Skills:

Demonstrated knowledge of Windows servers (2016, 2019) and Active Directory.

Proficiency in networking, including OSI model, TCP/IP, and DNS.

Proven ability to set up and maintain Microsoft servers and Active Directory.

Quick problem diagnosis and timely solution implementation.

Strong customer/client relationship skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects, systems, activities, and tasks concurrently.

Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills.

Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.

Personal Attributes:

Honesty, trustworthiness, respectfulness, flexibility, and strong work ethics.

Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously.

A strong sense of responsibility and dedication to delivering high-quality work.

Curiosity and a commitment to excellence.

Employment type : Minimum 6 month contract

Compensation:

$55-65/hr
