Judson Group has partnered with a leading wealth management firm in the search for a Head of Financial Planning - CFP - Wealth Management. This individual will serve in an entrepreneurial leadership role to lead all financial planning activities, strategies, and initiatives. This individual will be responsible for overall planner development and implement the firm’s financial planning strategy through process/tool development.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in financial planning and tax minimization to assist with client strategies and advisor education/assistance.
Responsibilities:
Serves as a financial planning resource for the firm, answering questions and training the client engagement team on common financial planning questions and processes
Evaluate, design, and enhance the client experience through long-term strategic initiatives and recommendations with the client engagement team
Strong use of advanced technologies, tools, and resources to be used in client/potential client meetings
Reviews, and develops financial planning materials, educational pieces, and marketing/events
Attend client meetings to act as subject matter expert in all financial planning related matters
Ensures adherence to and fiscal responsibility to financial planning team budget
Proactively network and represent the firm at various functions and community events
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of financial planning experience
CFP designation required
Knowledge of financial services operational functions, terminology, and software
Highly proactive, must have a strong work ethic
High degree of customer service, confidentiality and urgency
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
MUST BE IN THE OFFICE ON A DAILY BASIS
