Foundational Services serves as the backbone for the company's app, supporting several existing products and with plans for adding more over time.
About The Role
The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for crafting a comprehensive product strategy and vision for these foundational Platform products.
The Senior Product Manager will primarily handle backend and high-volume products, with some exhibiting UI/Experience components. A major focus will be empowering internal and external product managers, developers, and customers to develop, own, and deploy services. Additionally, active involvement in driving transformative changes across the business will enable customers to scale their solutions effectively. Collaboration with peer PMs and Engineering Managers across global teams will be key to enable seamless integration of product and engineering efforts.
You Have:
3-5 years of experience in a Product role, particularly in SaaS, with a total of 8 years of experience in tech or related industries.
A proven track record of working with complex products from inception to launch, with emphasis on operating in the technical space.
Familiarity with Agile processes and development methodologies.
Proficiency in communicating technical solutions to diverse audiences and a data-oriented approach while analyzing feedback and customer journeys.
Experience in cross-functional team collaboration and excelling in a fast-paced environment with regular production releases.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and an ability to deliver complex technical projects from inception to completion.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge or experience of API-driven development and service-oriented architectures.
Direct experience with REST APIs, working with cloud technologies, and driving customer experiences through UX teams.
Proficiency in data analysis using tools like Tableau, Snowflake, or SQL.
You Will:
Conduct regular analysis and metrics on product usage, impact, and improvements.
Engage in market and competitor research, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders for product roadmap alignment.
Collaborate with Engineering Managers and engineers to develop technically viable and scalable solutions.
Lead product specifications, timeline, and cross-team initiatives such as APIs and discoverability.
Utilize internal and external data sources to validate and guide product decisions, in addition to leading the strategy for the product area.
