They are in search of a dynamic and experienced Principal Controls Systems Engineer to join their team and lead the control systems engineering efforts.
About the role: The Principal Controls Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced control systems for our products and processes. This role requires a deep understanding of control theory, automation, and systems integration. The successful candidate will lead a team of engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the highest standards of quality and performance in control systems design and implementation.
Responsibilities:
Conduct system modeling, simulation, and analysis to validate control strategies.
Lead the design and development of control systems, including hardware and software components.
Manage and lead control systems projects from concept to completion.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in control systems engineering and incorporate relevant innovations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 15 years of experience in control systems engineering, with a proven track record of leading complex projects.
Proficiency in control theory, automation, and systems integration.
Experience with PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and other control systems technologies.
Prior experience with Emerson Delta V and or Honeywell Experion preferred.
Strong programming skills in languages such as C/C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification.
