Job Summary:
As the Maternal Fetal Medicine Nurse Navigator, you will be responsible for coordinating and providing care for both in-patients and out-patients. You will follow the American Nursing Association guidelines and work according to established NCH Patient Navigation policies. You will also provide educational expertise on maternal fetal medicine to our clinical staff and the community in order to enhance patient outcome. In this role, you will use your knowledge in adult education, clinical nursing and leadership skills to ensure quality care. Your main responsibility will be to eliminate barriers and provide accessibility to timely delivery of services to save lives.

Education, Experience and Qualifications:
The candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and must have a licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Florida. A minimum of two years of experience as an obstetrical nurse or Patient Educator is preferred. The candidate should also be competent in applying teaching-learning theories and have basic life support certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association. Basic computer knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows is required.
