**Job Description**

Come and join a dynamic and challenging team within the Intel Datacenter and AI Group (DCAI) focused on engineering developing and supporting world class platforms and component building blocks aligned to DCAI and NEX's roadmap and strategies. Our mission is to enable breakthrough innovation for cloud, AI, and Edge computing in Intel's Data Platform Engineering and Architecture group (DPEA). The Server Platform Architecture team is seeking an experienced, self-motivated candidate to fulfill the role the Memory Domain Platform Hardware Architect for server and edge platforms. As a Memory Domain Platform Hardware Architect your responsibilities will include: ? Work closely with the Memory and I/O (MIO) technologist in develop new server memory technologies o Inject server platform considerations into defining new server memory technologies o Identify potential platform impacts and define platform mitigations ? Contribute or define platform memory architecture in server platforms and leading/supporting memory related issues when they arise. ? Actively participate in memory roadmap discussion that would have implications to DCAI/NEX's server platforms to ensure platform alignment. ? Engage in OEM discussions to obtain feedback on specific memory features or technologies. ? Author or support creating platform memory requirements for DPG Server platforms in HSD database. ? Author the Memory Platform Architecture Spec (MPAS) to document platform memory architecture and requirements. The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits: ? **Qualifications**

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a positive factor in identifying top candidates. Requirements listed may be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research. Minimum Requirements: The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field with 9+ years of industry experience or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field with 6+ years of industry experience. Minimum qualifications: 5+ years of experience with: ? Memory architecture work and/or memory subsystem validation ? Understanding of server platform architecture and how memory subsystem works within server platform. Preferred qualifications: ? Experience in Intel processor architecture and micro-architectures including memory architecture and memory power/thermal management. ? Experience with server system architecture aspects related to memory (thermal, power, telemetry, mechanical constraints, etc.)

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:

$132,940.00-$199,800.00

**Work Model for this Role**

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
