We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who combines strong financial acumen with a highly collaborative mindset and a forward-thinking approach to modernization. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy and future direction of the credit union with specific oversight of accounting and payment & processing operations.
The CFO will develop and execute the financial strategy to support the credit union’s continued growth and profitability objectives, oversee the payment and processing functions to ensure smooth and efficient operation and work closely with the President/CEO and executive team to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
The CFO role at First U.S. Community Credit Union requires a strong leader with a proven ability to drive long-term growth goals, actively contribute to strategic planning, and demonstrate excellent execution skills. This position demands collaboration with the executive leadership team, staff at all levels, and the Board of Directors, necessitating outstanding communication abilities, technical expertise, and a strategic vision.
As a strategic financial leader, the ideal candidate will excel in developing and implementing effective strategies, actions, programs, and processes that align with the business objectives of First U.S. Community Credit Union. The preferred CFO will be a solutions-oriented and inclusive leader, adept at researching, evaluating, recommending, and implementing financial and accounting solutions to foster growth opportunities.
We are looking for a candidate who is committed to career development and envisions an active role in long-term succession planning at First U.S. Community Credit Union.

A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required. An MBA and/or CPA is highly desirable.
The salary range for this position is $162,953 - $271,589 annually.
