Job Description

General Purpose of Position :

Design and build the digital products that power our customers’ digital experiences. This includes mobile, web, applications, and services (both on-prem and in the cloud). Define architecture and drive it through implementation across cross-functional teams. Identify tooling and development and coding standards. Help guide technical strategy of the Digital Products Engineering organization.

Major Duties and Responsibilities :

Design and implement digital products – web, mobile, apps, services.

Define technical architecture for complex digital products.

Be technical DRI for key projects. Ensure those projects are sound technically, make strategic decisions based on technical requirements.

Clear communicating with product, program, design, and other engineering teams and partners.

Hire world-class engineers to up-level the overall engineering organization.

Additional Job Description

Knowledge and Expertise Required:

Software engineering and development – programming languages, tools, and best practices

Cloud-native technologies

Systems and distributed systems

Technical leadership experience

6+ years experience in software development

Skills and Abilities :

C/C++, Python, Java, Golang, Bash, Linux

Modern development tools

Strong writing and presentation skills

Ability to lead other engineers by influence

Education :

BS in computer science or related Engineering

MS or PhD in computer science preferred

Work Arrangement:

Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Mountain View, CA three times per week, at minimum.

Compensation:

The expected base compensation for this role is $135,800 - $285,300 USD Annually

Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.

Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
