What will you do?

Use inventory/order management electronic systems to perform on-site program replenishments and disbursements, receiving, put-away, stock rotation, cycle counts, order entry and expediting, customer service call resolution, product returns, and backorder processing.

Follow well-defined procedures as outlined by Best Practices, SOP’s & work instructions.

Independently make decisions and use available resources to meet customer requirements.

Analyze, maintain, and reconcile various customer and Thermo Fisher reports to ensure customer and company requirements are met.

Demonstrate proficiency at capturing, presenting, and explaining job or site-specific performance metrics.

Communicate with supervisor any customer issues or potential problems.

Promote personal growth and development by staying abreast of new policies and improvements.

Listen to customer concerns, effectively diffuse dissatisfaction, and quickly identify a course of action with a goal of first call resolution within established turnaround times.

Work effectively with a diverse cross-functional team.

Embrace Practical Process Improvement (PPI) methodologies.

Positively represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at all times throughout customer locations.

Perform other tasks as needed.

How will you get here?

High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.

2 years of related experience in inventory management or within a laboratory setting is preferred.

Experience working in customer service is also a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Able to read, write, and speak English.

Displays a high level of confidentiality for both customers and Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Must maintain Thermo Fisher Scientific's Four-I Values.

Must have one to three years of progressive proven experience.

Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:

Must possess a strong desire to serve the customer, and the interpersonal skills to deal with various levels of personnel at the customer site.

Must deliver excellent customer service to include maintaining a professional appearance at all times.

Possess the operating skills to use computers and learn to enter data in various systems as needed.

Must possess the organizational skills to multi-task and meet customer requirements as needed.

Must be proficient with a computer and the Microsoft Office suite of software.

Working Conditions:

Works primarily at customer sites, which may require independent work.

Work areas may include spaces where chemical-based allergens are in use.

Requires the ability to lift, push, and pull 30-40 pounds consistently; may be required to lift 50 pounds occasionally.

Able to work overtime as required.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $21.42–$32.13.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
