About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Medical Officer for Provider Experience to play a pivotal role in the transformation of community health. The successful candidate will work as a strategic clinical thought leader, partnering with senior executives to align the provider experience strategy with the organization's mission, vision, and values. This includes assessing healthcare trends, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance both provider and patient outcomes. The role involves close collaboration with various teams to develop clinical outcome tools, drive enterprise alignment around clinical performance, and ensure that clinical objectives are in line with organizational goals. Applicants must be Medical Doctors with a background in family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, or geriatrics, and have a strong focus on value-based care. The position requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in practicing and teaching value-based care, as well as leadership experience in a value-based environment. The Chief Medical Officer will also be responsible for cultivating relationships with healthcare providers, staying abreast of industry advancements, and leading the implementation of initiatives to enhance the provider experience and support value-based care. A deep understanding of clinical governance, regulatory requirements, and best practices in healthcare is essential, with a preference for candidates with knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and marketplace population health.
