Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CASB (Cloud Access Security Broker) Engineer with in-depth knowledge of web proxy technologies to join our dynamic IT security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of our CASB solutions and web proxy services, ensuring secure and compliant access to cloud applications and web resources.
Key Responsibilities:
1. CASB Implementation and Management:
- Deploy, configure, and manage CASB solutions to monitor and control cloud application usage.
- Integrate CASB solutions with existing security frameworks and IT infrastructure.
- Develop and enforce policies to secure data and control access across cloud platforms.
2. Web Proxy Configuration and Maintenance:
- Implement and manage web proxy solutions to monitor, filter, and control web traffic.
- Configure proxy settings to optimize performance and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve web proxy-related issues.
3. Security Monitoring and Incident Response:
- Monitor cloud and web traffic for security threats and policy violations.
- Respond to security incidents and alerts related to CASB and web proxy.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments.
4. Policy Development and Enforcement:
- Develop and maintain security policies and procedures related to cloud access and web usage.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Educate users on security policies and best practices.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with IT and security teams to integrate CASB and web proxy solutions.
- Collaborate with cloud service providers and third-party vendors.
- Provide regular updates and reports to management on security posture and incidents.
6. Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in cloud security and web proxy.
- Recommend and implement improvements to enhance security measures.
- Participate in professional development and training activities.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCSP, CEH, CISSP) are a plus.
- Experience:
- Proven experience as a CASB Engineer or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with CASB solutions (e.g., Netskope, McAfee MVISION, Symantec).
- In-depth knowledge of web proxy technologies (e.g., Blue Coat, Zscaler, Squid).
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing web proxy servers.
- Experience with security monitoring and incident response.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
