Senior Portfolio Accountant - Leading Asset Management Company
Our client is a leading U.S. alternative asset management company, unique for its focus on commercial real estate (CRE) and related businesses, strengthened by over 600 real estate professionals in more than 30 offices nationwide who manage over $37 billion in assets under management and leverage more than 35 years of institutional experience.
They are looking for a Senior Portfolio Accountant who will supervise and perform the primary accounting function for the corporate and property level General Ledgers (G/L) of a diverse publicly traded REIT.

Senior Portfolio Accountant Responsibilities
Prepare, generate and review financial reports and supporting work papers monthly, quarterly, and annually on a GAAP basis
Handle all financial aspects of several portfolios of senior living communities
Assist in the internal audit process
Assist with the preparation and review of SEC filings and related public disclosures
Senior Portfolio Accountant Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration with a 3.0 minimum GPA
3 years of accounting experience
Proficiency with Property Management/Accounting software. Yardi preferred
Strong analytical skills and strong attention to detail
