Job Description:
As an Experienced Trial Attorney with at least three years specializing in Insurance Defense, you will play a key role in managing a diverse caseload and defending clients in various insurance matters. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional litigation skills, courtroom experience, and a deep understanding of insurance law.
Responsibilities:
Case Management: Effectively manage a caseload of Insurance Defense matters, including, but not limited to, personal injury, property damage, and other related claims.
Litigation Strategy: Develop and implement sound litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
Courtroom Representation: Conduct hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings, representing clients in state and federal courts.
Legal Research: Stay abreast of legal developments, statutes, and case law related to Insurance Defense, and apply this knowledge to cases.
Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
Negotiation Skills: Demonstrate strong negotiation skills to achieve settlements when appropriate.
Collaboration: Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure effective and efficient case management.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar and in good standing.
Admission to the New Jersey Bar a plus.
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of proven experience in Insurance Defense litigation.
Strong analytical and research skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proven track record of successful trial experience.
