Contract IT Project Manager | Data MigrationJoin the ECI Group's Professional Technical Services Network as a contract IT Project Manager for Data Migration. This is a Houston based contract role with an anticipated 4-month duration starting Sept 21, 2026. Note: You must be a US Citizen or Permanent US Resident to qualify for this position.About the Role Migrations: Legacy DW PDWEmbody an agnostic agile mindset, experimental approach, apply the right mix of support and challenge that empower teams to continuously improve.Mentor teams as they transition to an Agile approach and new ways of working. Coach cross-functional teams on optimizing Agile ways of working, identifying waste, improving feedback loops.Contribute to our Agile Community of Practice (CoP) re: Lean-Agile principles and practices. A coach embedded with a cross functional team of product owners, project management, UX design, engineering managers and other internal stakeholders to facilitate outcomes of discovery and definition phases.Facilitate key Team of Teams events, retrospectives and workshops, e.g. Story mapping, value stream mapping, Scrum of Scrums, Product Alignment.Ensure synchronization between Team of Teams and Team-level agile cadence.Maintain a focus on Lean/Kanban metrics, leading and lagging indicators.Raise visibility of Team of Team level impediments, risks and dependencies.Support/generate Agile project management reports (e.g. generate Jira queries, planned vs. earned value reports).Ensure psychological safety and an engaging space for team collaboration, learning and agility maturity assessments to bring about continuous and measurable improvements.Work closely with the platform vertical lead to ensure alignment between strategy and execution.Coach other team members, review team dynamics, health.Mandatory skills:Skilled in Lean Agile practices, facilitation, teaching, coaching.Knowledge of mentoring, transformation and business productization, ideation, design, development, testing, CI/CD, DevOps.Ability to understand and properly utilize market standard tools used in the Agile space.Required Domain Knowledge:Trading in financial services and/or energy tradingKnowledge of ETRMs (Energy Trading Risk Management) systems requiredPrior experience in Data Warehousing and Data Migration requiredTechnology experience to include Databricks, Unity Catalog and Delta SharingOptional skills:Scrum Master certifications (CSM, PSM I, PSM II, PSM III, CSP, CTC)Portfolio: Shell IDT/Downstream & Renewables IDT/Trading & Supply/TS - Crude & Products/TS - Products/TS - Products Investments Program: Products Data Exchange Project: Legacy Datawarehouse Migration PDW Description:Products Data Exchange is a one-stop shop for Products dataData and Technical Foundations ('building blocks') to expand current analytic and digital capabilities and more broadly enable data science and artificial intelligence capabilities on cloud technology.Central Data Repository is crucial for the PDS Vision 2030 –Products Data Exchange (PDX) is a centralized data repository of harmonized NA and WONA data.Business case: Achieving cloud modernization is imperative to alleviate speed and agility challenges faced with the current on-premise data landscapes and to increase technical capabilities necessary to deliver outcomes of the PDS 2030 Vision.
