Position Description:
Coordinate and execute strategic planning.
Provide first-class maintenance for portfolio. Under the guidance and direction of the General Manager, lead and direct all personnel related to the properties and oversee all operations/facilities.
The candidate must have a minimum of five years experience managing commercial property, demonstrated leadership skills, enthusiasm, and the ability to work well independently and collaboratively.
Must perform well under pressure, maintain a positive attitude at all times, , have the desire and ability to motivate self and a team, have strong oral and written skills, and have years of experience in providing exceptional customer service.
It is essential that all members of the team communicate with each other.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, contractors, and other property service providers.
Maintain a proactive approach to ensuring vendor services are being carried out.
Oversee construction and associated administrative duties (e.g. contracts, pay applications, lien waivers, close-out documents, inspections, etc.).
Relationships with local officials should be maintained (as appropriate).
Problem-solving skills and the ability to recommend solutions to problems.
Calm and intelligent crisis manager with developed conflict management skills.
Flexibility is essential with the ability to multi-task.
Financial and asset manager.
Ability to follow and enforce policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Certifications Experience with Yardi and Asset Management (Realogic) software preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other programs.
