IT Specialist - Must have 5+ years of experience in IT Support
Hybrid in Beverly, MA at 2 days onsite & 3 days remote per week
Contract at 9+ months & potential for perm anent/FTE conversion
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced IT Specialist for a six-month contract position. The ideal candidate will have a combination of Technical and Administrative skills to provide end-user support, manage IT systems, and enhance the overall tech support experience for our end-users. Your technical knowledge will come into play as you will be supporting technical people.
Requirements:
At least five years of IT experience, including desktop support and system administration
Strong communication, writing, and administrative skills
Proficiency in working with spreadsheets and technical documentation
Familiarity with Windows 10/11, Active Directory, and Office 365; Business applications and basic networking skills are a plus
Ability to prioritize customer satisfaction and communicate effectively with end-users
Experience in correcting and improving MSP service quality is desirable

Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support for our technical team
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and respond to emails
Perform other administrative tasks as assigned
Utilize your technical knowledge to support the technical team as needed
Manage the onboarding and offboarding processes for new hires, including user setup, support, termination, and login issue resolution
Collaborate with vendors and participate in purchasing IT goods and services
Perform financial spreadsheet work and IT-related systems inventory tasks
Develop and write IT policies and procedures
Work with Windows 10/11, Active Directory, and Office 365
Monitor and respond to incoming support requests, triage issues, and coordinate with appropriate team members to resolve problems
Over-communicate with end-users to ensure their satisfaction with tech support and direct the MSP in improving their service quality
Complete administrative tasks, such as managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and responding to emails
Provide training to end-users on basic technical issues and new technologies
Manage IT projects from initiation to completion
Proactively identify and recommend system improvements to enhance end-user experience
