**Job Summary:**
Your role as an Inventory Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining a company's inventory levels to ensure that products are available when needed while minimizing excess stock and costs. The role involves a combination of administrative, analytical, and operational tasks.as Inventory Specialist will include the recording and accuracy of the components, finished goods, equipment and supplies.
**Job Duties/Responsibilities:**
+ Monitor and maintain current inventory levels.
+ Track inventory usage and manage stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
+ Conduct regular physical counts of inventory and reconcile discrepancies.
+ Generate purchase orders based on inventory needs.
+ Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products.
+ Monitor lead times and adjust order quantities to optimize inventory levels.
+ Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, shipments, and adjustments.
+ Use inventory management software to update stock information and generate reports.
+ Inspect incoming inventory for defects or discrepancies and report any issues.
+ Ensure that inventory is stored correctly to prevent damage and deterioration.
+ Analyze sales trends and historical data to forecast future inventory needs.
+ Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
+ Generate and analyze inventory reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
+ Provide inventory status reports to management and other departments as needed.
+ Monitor inventory costs and work to minimize expenses related to storage, handling, and obsolescence.
**REQUIREMENTS:**
+ A high school diploma, a bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field can be advantageous.
+ Previous experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a related field preferred.
+ Knowledge and experience in implementing and working within an MRP software
+ Ability to effectively use computer and communication technology such as Microsoft Office

**Pay Details:** $24.00 to $28.00 per hour
