Medical Social Worker I: Registration as an associate with the Board of Behavioral Science Examiners. Medical Social Worker II: Registration as an associate with the Board of Behavioral Science Examiners. One year post-masters' experience in a clinical setting. Medical Social Worker III: Licensed by the Board of Behavioral Science Examiners. Thorough knowledge of child and adult development theories and family systems theory. In depth knowledge of developmental theories and issues pertaining to the position's target population. Previous experience in a health care setting, especially pediatrics preferred. Prior experience in a community based organization or social services setting. Skills and Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work under pressure, respond to crisis situations, and to function as part of a multidisciplinary team. Experience: prior experience working for Child and Adolescent Gender Clinic preferred. **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:** Sit: Up to 6 hours/day Stand/Walk: Up to 6 hours Bend/Stoop: Up to 3 hours Reach: Up to 6 hours Rep Use of UE: Up to 6 hours Lift/Push/Pull: 25 lbs, over 25# with assistance or equipment This job requires the ability to hear alarms, clients and/or instruction.
