The Job
As a Sr Research Data Scientist, you will be responsible for performing tasks such as data analytics, data clean-up, data processing, ML modeling, statistical analysis, multivariate data analysis as it relates to scientific data.
Required
Bachelors Degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Statistcis, Data Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, etc)
3-5 years of professional industry experience
Proficient in Python , R, Java and/or Matlab
Competency using Linux/Unix OS
Must come from a science background (Chemistry or Biochemistry)
Experience in chromatography, mass spectrometry, spectroscopy, hyperspectral imaging, proteomics, metabolomics, RF signal processing, genomics or other biochemical analysis methods
Experience in developing NLPs and Machine Vision Models
Experience in developing proteomics or metabolomics data analysis
Previous research and development experience related to chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and or explosive threats
Preferred
PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science Mathematics, Chemistry, Biochemistry or relevant field
Significant experience in software programming/scripting for scientific data science and machine learning models
Experience with Chemometrics is highly desired
