The Software Engineering Manager will be responsible for managing the Verification Tools and Infrastructure Team. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining tools and infrastructure that support the verification of software products. The Software Engineering Manager will be responsible for prioritizing tools and infrastructure work, engaging with verification teams, engaging with IT, scoping large tool development initiatives, and managing a team which owns physical labs in Europe and North America.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a team of python software engineers primarily located in Ireland.
Prioritize tools and infrastructure work based on business needs and customer requirements.
Engage with verification teams to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
Engage with IT to ensure that the verification tools and infrastructure are integrated with the company’s IT systems.
Scope large tool development initiatives and work with the team to develop project plans and schedules.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in software engineering including experience with Python.
2+ years of experience in managing software engineering teams.
Experience with verification tools and infrastructure.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
