Position Summary

SHEIN is in search of an ambitious analytical mind to help drive customer focus research on how our marketing, digital, and media strategies are reaching our customer base. As a Consumer Insights Manager you will have the opportunity to shape the SHEIN customer experience through quantitative and qualitative research. You will work closely with the Marketing team to understand the impact on various activities on customer acquisition/retention and provide recommendations for improvement. You will support the global organization by providing day-to-day tactical support and help build the strategy surrounding SHEN’s marketing vision and consumer engagement.

Job Responsibilities

Create and conduct surveys with our customer base, along with driving survey projects with outside agencies.

Understand the overall brand goals and proactively develop surveys and market research reports to help provide insight that will help achieve these objectives.

Partner with cross-functional teams to develop program launch plans and audience growth opportunities with associated marketing support.

Support the global development and strategy of new campaigns, events and product launches by conducting consumer surveys and marketing research reports.

Understanding consumer behavior by designing and leading consumer immersive research and experiments.

Oversee the data collection, analysis, and reporting for survey research projects and custom studies, and provide tracking of these projects.

Lead the design of quantitative and qualitative surveys to gain maximum insight from the data survey results.

Lead qualitative customer study & research including but not limited to one-on-one interviews, focus groups, consumer panels, etc.

Use analytical insights on customer acquisition and retention to shape the SHEIN Marketing strategy, and drive business growth.

Build measurement plans, tracking requirements, reporting, metrics, and benchmarks for marketing channels to measure and share optimization insight.

Analyze data quantitatively and qualitatively in order to provide insight into consumer behavior and other key data points.

Come up with new, creative, and innovative ways of conducting consumer surveys and market research.

Include global stakeholders such as Marketing, Product Design, Legal, Privacy, and PR in the development of consumer surveys and market research projects ro make sure they are in compliance.

Ability to build on and combine soft skills with analytical skills to convey research findings and drive actions with key business partners across levels and functions.

Deliver actionable reporting designed to improve customer experiences and aid in strategic business decision making.

Drive brand growth and help solve business challenges by translating consumer insights and data into actionable recommendations.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Consumer Insights role within marketing.

Knowledge on how to find, collect, organize marketing and consumer related data, and turn the data into reports that will contain actionable insights.

Experience developing data pipelines and analyzing large, multi-dimensional data sets and synthesizing insights into actionable solutions using Advanced SQL skills, Excel skills, and digital analytics tools.

Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.

Experience with defining, implementing, and analyzing A/B and multivariate experiments.

Experience using e-commerce funnel analytics to evaluate performance of digital products.

Ability to present and explain complex information in a way that establishes partnership, persuades others, and gains understanding.

Experience developing, executing, and managing large-size quantitative surveys, and most importantly, highly focused qualitative focus groups.

Works well under pressure and adapts quickly to changing priorities and aggressive deadlines.

People and communication skills, easy to connect with customers.

Experience working with or in support of diverse communities.

A passion for understanding consumer behavior.

Can-do positive attitude and a roll-up-your-sleeves approach.

Pay

$80,500.00 to $127,600.00 max annually. Bonus & RSU offered.
