The work:

As a Mid-Level Data Engineer, you'll use your IBM DataStage expertise to design and implement effective data engineering solutions.

Your day-to-day activities will involve:

Developing and maintaining data pipelines

Performing data migrations

Processing and virtualizing data.

You should have deep proficiency in IBM DataStage and advanced proficiency in Data Engineering.

What you need:

Minimum 2 years of experience working with IBM's DataStage and Watson Query.

Minimum 3 years of experience working with DB2 Warehouse SQL, scripting languages, and data modeling.

Minimum 3 years of experience in designing, developing, and running jobs to move and transform data.

Minimum 3 years of experience working with both extract, transform, and load (ETL) and extract, load, and transform (ELT) patterns.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Nice to have:

Certifications in IBM Datastage, DB2, and CloudPak4Data are highly desirable.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York or Washington as set forth below. California $63,200 to $188,600

Colorado $63,200 to $163,000

New York $58,500 to $188,600

Washington $67,300 to $173,500
