As an Azure Data Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and can be leveraged to drive business insights and decisions. Key Responsibilities of the Azure Data Developer:
Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes on Azure using services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Data Warehouse.
Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
Implement data integration solutions, including data ingestion, data transformation, and data storage on Azure.
Optimize and tune data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Ensure data security and compliance with data governance and privacy standards.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data quality and availability.
Stay up-to-date with Azure data technologies and best practices, and apply them to enhance data solutions.
Qualifications of the Azure Data Developer:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Proven experience as a data developer or data engineer with a focus on Azure data services.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, and Azure Data Lake Storage.
Knowledge of data integration patterns, ETL best practices, and data warehousing principles.
Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer) are a plus.
