**Overview**
Element has an opportunity for a **Senior Test Technician** to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team, the Senior Test Technician position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under minimal direct supervision.

Salary:$28-$32/hr DOE
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform mechanical testing and specimen conditioning (HT) in accordance with company goals, quality system, and test procedures/methods.
+ Provide technical support for quotation and pricing.
+ Aid in writing, review and development of procedures for testing and/or sample preparation.
+ Use calibrated hand tools such as micrometer, caliper, compass, and ruler to take measurements and record them into the test records.
+ Ensure that all equipment (standards) used for performing tests are calibrated prior to use. Record and maintain maintenance history of the lab equipment.
+ Communicate any issues (safety, product flow, equipment, etc.) to management and mechanical test team members.
+ Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives including 5S and Operational Excellence.

This is a fast-paced environment, and we need someone who is proactive, self-motivated and a team player. The person for this role will be a specialist in their field, respected by all who they work with, keen to learn and enthusiastic in the face of challenge. You will:
+ Minimum of 3 years’ experience is required in Materials testing, interpreting testing procedures and customer specifications.
+ Analyzes and compiles testing data from the tests performed
+ Advanced ability to read and understand customer specifications and perform the testing required in accordance with customer specifications.
+ Ability to lift 50+lbs periodically
NOTE: This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status under 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3), or U.S. Government export authorization is required.
