We are based out of Seattle, but work remotely. This position is preferred to be in the Midwest to East Coast area, but other geography is acceptable for the right candidate. This role reports directly to our VP of SaaS.
This role is to help expand our enterprise offering to complex cannabis industry operators. This role is to help build upon the success we've gained over the last couple of years. Our customers span across multistate operators, dispensaries, processing/manufacturing and cultivation sites.
Responsibilities:
Aggressively building a pipeline of SaaS SMB and Enterprise customer opportunities in the cannabis industry.
Identify new business opportunities within the industry through various means of customer outreach, social media marketing, and take ownership and accountability on bringing in quality opportunities.
Provide solutions based presentations to customers that tell the story of how we're solving the complexity of purchasing
Participate in industry research and be part of the strategic meetings to grow the business.
Work directly with the VP of SaaS and CEO to close the customer opportunities you bring in.
Requirements:
MUST HAVE prior experience developing or selling enterprise software to complex cannabis operators like multi-state operators (MSO) or medium/large complex single state operators. That is our target customer demographic.
3+ years of technical software solution sales required
Strong performance history of setting and hitting financial goals
Supply Chain and Procurement Software & Processes knowledge preferred
Ability to manage lead generation processes within a CRM, knowledge of Zoho CRM is preferred, but not mandatory.
Must be entrepreneurial
Ability to understand the underlying holistic customer issues and translate how MainStem's procurement platform solves the complex issues
Experience in strategic planning and collaboration with executive, technology, sales, marketing, product development and key operational leadership
Must be a hunter, you must thrive on finding and winning opportunities. This is not an account manager style position.
Willingness to travel as required and allowed
