Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of IT & Security located in Philadelphia, PA. As the Director of IT & Security, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of IT infrastructure and security for our organization. This includes managing a team, developing and implementing IT strategies, ensuring data security, managing IT operations, and collaborating with stakeholders to align IT initiatives with business goals.
Near Term Goal:
Build out a culture / platform of information protection, data privacy, and compliance with policies, training, and resources to instill a protective mindset in all employees
Audit, assess, and continually monitor all handling of sensitive customer data, and how we control TQ's use of customer output/materials in our platform
Manage the architecture of our security infrastructure and information pathways, both internally and with our outside partners
Lead compliance with all technical components of HIPAA, CCPA, CPRA, SOC2, and any other rules that apply to us or certifications we may take on in the future
Provide front-line support for customer diligence requests: assessments, attestations, and audits.
Assist with all technical needs as we work to bring customers into our ecosystem (i.e., VPN, SSO, etc.)
Be a shared resource for leadership and other departments. You will provide security and privacy guidance for company data, customer materials, and all of our system infrastructure
Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal government privacy regulations and requirements
Conduct periodic in-depth audits and vulnerability tests, make recommendations for any areas of concern
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven experience in IT management and information security
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, and networks
Experience with cloud technologies and services
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and regulations
Excellent leadership and management skills
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to stay updated with the latest IT trends and advancements
Certifications in IT management and information security are a plus
